Free Snow Removal Bergen County Community Event

When the recent winter storm hit Bergen County, our team at Altitude Construction Group knew this was more than just another snow event — it was an opportunity to give back to the community that supports us year-round.

That’s why we spent the day providing free snow plowing and snow removal services to local residents, focusing especially on elderly homeowners, families with limited mobility, and neighbors who simply needed a hand during unsafe winter conditions.

Why Snow Removal Matters More Than People Think

Heavy snowfall and icy conditions aren’t just inconvenient — they can be dangerous. For many seniors and at-risk residents, shoveling snow can lead to serious injuries, falls, or medical emergencies. Clear driveways and walkways aren’t a luxury; they’re a safety necessity.

By stepping in, we were able to:

• Help elderly residents safely access their homes
• Clear driveways for essential travel and medical needs
• Reduce slip-and-fall risks on walkways and sidewalks
• Provide peace of mind during a stressful winter storm

A Community-First Approach to Construction & Property Care

As a local Bergen County contractor, we believe our responsibility goes beyond jobsites and projects. Our company was built on the idea that strong communities start with people looking out for one another — especially during tough weather.

Throughout the day, we visited as many homes as possible, clearing snow with no charge and no expectations in return. While we couldn’t reach everyone this time, the gratitude, conversations, and smiles we encountered made every stop worth it.

We’ll Be Back for the Next Storm

We want to sincerely apologize to anyone we weren’t able to reach during this storm. Snow events move fast, and demand can exceed even the most prepared crews. That said, this won’t be the last time — when the next season comes, we’ll be back out there doing what we can for our neighbors.
