Altitude Construction

Wood You Don't Have to Keep Up With

Composite fencing gives you the grain and warmth of real wood without the sanding, staining, and board swaps that come with it. It holds its color, shrugs off weather, and stays put for decades.

Almost nothing to maintain

No painting, staining, or sealing on a schedule. Composite is made from recycled wood fiber bound with high-performance polymers, so rot, insects, and sun damage aren't a concern. Wash it down with soap and water when it needs it and that's the whole routine.

Warranties in writing

The material carries a 25-year warranty covering fading, staining, and structural defects, and our labor carries a one-year warranty. If something isn't right, you have it on paper.

Real wood grain, real colors

Pick from grains and tones that read like cedar, redwood, or walnut, right down to the texture of the board. We'll help you land on a style and color that suits the house instead of fighting it.

Installed in under a week

Most properties take three to seven days, depending on size and layout. The same crew handles measuring, post setting, panels, and the final pass, and you'll know what's happening on each day they're on site.

Costs less than wood over time

Composite costs more up front than a wood fence and less over the life of it. There's no annual stain job, no pulling rotted boards, and no weekend spent on upkeep. Using recycled content is a fair bit easier on the environment, too.

Veteran-owned and family-run

Altitude Construction is veteran-owned and family-operated. You deal with the people whose name is on the truck, from the first estimate to the last panel.

Our process

Our Composite Fence Installation Process

Four steps from the first visit to the finished fence, with the same crew on your property the whole way through.

  1. Step 01

    Initial Consultation and Estimate

We come out to the property, hear what you want the fence to do, and look the site over ourselves. You leave that visit with a written, itemized estimate and a clear picture of what happens next.

  2. Step 02

    Planning and Scheduling

We build the timeline around your calendar, not ours. Final measurements get taken and the material goes on order, so nothing stalls once the crew shows up.

  3. Step 03

    Installation and Quality Check

Our own crew installs it the moment the material lands. We keep you in the loop as it goes up, adjust early if you want something moved, and check the whole run over before calling it finished.

  4. Step 04

    Completion and Walkthrough

We walk the finished fence with you line by line. Anything that isn't right gets handled before we pull off site, and your warranty and our support pick up from there.

Common questions

Composite Fence Installation FAQs

The questions that come up most often before a composite job starts.

What Is a Composite Fence Made Of?

Wood fiber and recycled plastic, pressed together into solid boards. You get the grain and the weight of real timber in a panel that won't splinter, cup or warp on you.

How Well Does Composite Hold Up?

Very well. Rot, insects and New Jersey winters don't get anywhere with it the way they do with wood. The panels stay straight and keep their color for years, and you're not sanding or sealing anything to get that.

Can the Project Be Financed?

Yes. There are payment options available so the fence can get done on your timeline instead of waiting on the full amount up front. Ask us during the estimate and we'll walk you through what's on the table.

Why Does Composite Cost More?

You're paying for better raw material and a more involved way of making the board. That's a real difference at the start, and it's usually gone by year five or six, once you've skipped the staining, the repainting and the rotted pickets a cheaper fence would have cost you by then.

Is the Fence Under Warranty?

It is — 25 years on the material and one year on our labor. If something goes wrong inside that window, you call us and we come back out.

What Upkeep Does It Need?

Almost none. Soap, water and a soft brush once or twice a year is the whole job. No staining, no sealing, no annual weekend lost to it.

A little bit about us

Sixty years in business, and we still handle the whole job ourselves — design, installation and the upkeep that keeps it looking right years later. Our crew has worked properties all over the area, and we treat every yard the way we'd treat one on our own street.

We build with durable, low-waste materials wherever we can, and we'd rather take an extra day than hand back work we aren't proud of. We're glad to be part of this community, and we'd like to earn a spot on your property.
